PruneQ Website Baseline
PruneQ is applying its cleanup standard to its own website. This note records what was observed, what changed in local source, and what the audit cannot yet prove.
By Christopher Buchner, founder of PruneQ
Observed baseline
- Public URLs sampled
- 11 live sitemap URLs returned successful responses in the dated crawl.
- Internal audit
- 100/100 technical SEO and 92/100 GEO readiness, with no critical or high findings.
- Open issue at T0
- The organization graph had no sameAs profile links because no public profile had been owner-confirmed during the initial run.
- Identity update
- On July 12, Christopher confirmed his LinkedIn profile. The source Person graph now includes that URL. This note does not claim when search systems discover it.
- Build
- The local production build completed and generated 29 routes before these source changes.
These are internal diagnostic scores, not Google ranking signals. They show that the sampled pages meet this audit's checks; they do not prove rankings, traffic, AI citations, recommendations, or leads.
For the repeatable checks behind this baseline, use the website cleanup checklist for consultants.
What remains unknown
Search rankings, organic discovery, and AI-answer visibility were not established in this source-only run. No Search Console or GA4 account data was opened. Manual exact-brand and site checks did not surface PruneQ in the sampled results, which is a weak discovery signal, not proof that every page is absent from every index.
PruneQ also has no approved client case study, testimonial set, or independently verified outcome claim yet. Technical readiness cannot substitute for that proof.
Local source changes
- Calibrated ranking and AI-search language to the owned-site signals PruneQ can control.
- Focused the primary navigation on cleanup, SEO, evidence, and pricing.
- Connected a truthful PruneQ Organization and operator Person graph without inventing profile links.
- Added this evidence library and a dated self-audit instead of a manufactured case study.
- Added a non-personal analytics event for successful intake submissions.
- Replaced deploy-time sitemap freshness with explicit page-change dates.
These changes were completed in local source before publication. Public availability begins only on the publication date shown above; indexing, rankings, traffic, AI citations, recommendations, and leads remain unknown until evidence establishes them.
Next measurement
- Search Console: indexed pages, impressions, clicks, queries, and page-level position trends.
- GA4: organic sessions, landing pages, source or medium, and successful generate_lead events.
- AI answer checks: a fixed, dated prompt set recorded as observations, never as a universal visibility score.
- Commercial proof: qualified inquiries, delivered work, buyer feedback, and permission-based outcomes.
The AI-search portion follows PruneQ's method for measuring repeated answer observations without fake precision.

The audit uses Google's published guidance on SEO fundamentals, helpful content, organization structured data, and sitemaps. These references explain eligibility and implementation; none promises placement.
